Welcome to Zara Maids! These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “Client,” or “User”) and Zara Maids, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of our website, digital platforms, and professional cleaning services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing our website or scheduling services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful contact and property information.
- Not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
If you are requesting services on behalf of another person or a company, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that party to these Terms.
Scope of Services
Zara Maids offers residential and commercial cleaning services in the Austin, Texas area. These services may include but are not limited to:
- Routine cleaning (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- One-time deep cleaning
- Move-in / move-out cleaning
- Post-construction or renovation cleaning
- Specialty cleaning (e.g., oven, inside fridge, green cleaning)
Note: All services are subject to staff availability, client location, and schedule alignment.
Booking and Scheduling
How to Book:
- Services may be scheduled via our website, phone call, or email.
- You must provide accurate details about your property, service needs, and preferred times.
Booking Confirmation:
- An appointment is not confirmed until you receive written (email or text) or verbal confirmation from our team.
Recurring Services:
- Clients may choose to set up recurring cleaning plans.
- These can be paused, rescheduled, or canceled as per our cancellation policy (see Section 8).
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth and safe cleaning process, clients must:
- Provide clear access to the property at the scheduled time.
- Disarm security systems, if applicable, or provide access instructions.
- Secure or remove pets, valuables, fragile items, and important documents.
- Notify us in advance of any health hazards (e.g., pest infestations, mold, or construction debris).
Disclaimer: We are not liable for damages to unsecured or improperly installed furniture, fixtures, or decorations.
Supplies and Equipment
Zara Maids provides its own cleaning products and equipment that meet industry and safety standards.
If you request the use of your own cleaning products, please note:
- You must supply them at the time of service.
We assume no liability for the effectiveness or damage resulting from customer-provided products
Pet Policy
We are happy to work in pet-friendly homes. However:
- Pets must be confined, crated, or supervised to ensure staff safety.
- Zara Maids is not responsible for pets that escape, are harmed, or cause injury during service if not secured.
- Please inform us in advance if pets will be on the premises.
Pricing, Payment, and Fees
Pricing:
- Prices are based on various factors including property size, condition, type of service, and frequency of cleaning.
- Final prices may differ from initial estimates if on-site conditions or scope of work vary significantly from the information provided at the time of booking.
Initial Deposit Requirement:
- Once a quote is approved, Zara Maids requires a 15% initial deposit to secure your booking.
- This deposit confirms your commitment and allows us to allocate time and resources to your project.
- The deposit amount will be applied toward your final invoice after the cleaning is completed.
- Deposits are non-refundable if the service is canceled without proper notice (see Cancellation Policy in Section 8).
Payment:
- The remaining balance (after the deposit is deducted) is due at the time of service completion, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/debit cards
- Secure digital payment apps (e.g., Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, etc.)
- Bank transfers (must be pre-approved in advance)
Late Payments:
- Payments not received within 5 business days of service completion are subject to a 5% late fee per month.
- Ongoing failure to pay may result in service suspension and may be referred to a collections agency.
Gratuity:
- Tipping is entirely optional, but it is always greatly appreciated by our hardworking cleaning staff.
- You may leave cash or include a tip during your digital payment.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Lockouts
Cancellation:
- Clients must cancel at least 24 hours before their appointment to avoid fees.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a 15% fee of the scheduled service.
Rescheduling:
- You may reschedule without penalty if we receive at least 24 hours’ notice.
Lockouts:
- If we are unable to access your property due to a lockout, a lockout fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost will apply.
Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
- If you are dissatisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours.
- We will offer a free re-cleaning of the problem area as soon as possible.
- Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only after a full review of the complaint.
Limitations of Liability
Zara Maids is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to property or fixtures.
- Damage caused by improper installations, unsecured items, or customer-provided products.
- Loss or damage to valuables left in open areas.
To Submit a Claim:
- Contact us in writing within 48 hours of service.
- Include photos, receipts, and a clear description of the issue.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service if:
- The environment is deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or hostile.
- The client engages in verbal abuse, harassment, or discrimination.
The scope of work goes beyond what was agreed upon or includes hazardous tasks
Account Creation and Website Use
By accessing our website or creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and updated information.
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
- Refrain from engaging in unauthorized data collection, reverse engineering, or interference with our systems.
Privacy Policy
We take privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we:
- Collect and store your personal information.
- Use your data for communication, scheduling, and service delivery.
- Never sell or share personal data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites. These links are provided for convenience only.
Force Majeure
Zara Maids is not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (e.g., floods, storms, fires)
- Labor strikes or staff illness
- Supply chain disruptions
- Government mandates (e.g., pandemic restrictions)
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will become effective immediately upon being posted on our website.

- Continued use of our Services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
